Aucuba show

We find aucubas an invaluable evergreen shrub for dry shade, and one of our favorites is looking rather nice this week. Aucuba japonica ‘Ogon-no-tsuki’ is also one of the slowest growers due to the large amount of gold in the leaf center. It is our hope to perhaps finally have enough to share in the next couple of years.

  1. Aucuba also are excellent as foliage features in indoor floral designs, They often root for me and I’ve been successful growing them (large plants in Washington DC hz 7and in Fayetteville, PA hz 6. My hope would be to try some of the wonderful ones you grow i the evolving PA garden.
What reports do you have for success in Z 6?

      1. Thanks. I’ve several noted on my wishlist Now to filter them down to try. There are several rooting indoors to plant when the weather moderates.
