Fabulous! Would love to have a couple!
Wow! It’s beautiful – yes, I would buy it but I’m an easy target for gorgeous plants!!
Hosta “Charbleu” or “Charblue”. Chartreuse and Blue
The flowers are impressive enough to encourage me to buy!
I like the texture showing on the foliage, but I really like the quantity of blooms. Very nice – how large does this one get?
Love it! Dimensions? It looks to be on the small side.
I think it is absolutely stunning and would have three if you were to decide to introduce it!
yes I would buy – really like color of leaves and blooms also
I like this. The bloom is such a pretty color.
I’d buy it if it weren’t so tasty to deer or we lived in the city. But unfortuantely I’ve called a moratorium on hosta buying due to the appetites of those deer, despite it being such a favorite of mine. I love, love, love, the deep color of those blossoms!
Any details size etc.?
The color is nice…What is the size?
30″ wide x 1′ tall
Thanks for the info! Yep, I’ll buy it, but then you know that my willpower isn’t good when it comes to new hostas!
Yes! and name it Purple Lights!
Nice. I would buy it!
Lime and periwinkle? Pretty cool !
Yes!! I most definitely need a few of these.. Names…’ Blue Valentine’ or more in line with Tony’s rowdy taste, ‘I’m Too Sexy For My…” Don’t take too long to share with the world, can’t wait to sell it to Fort Collins Nursery customers.
I usually don’t let my hosta bloom as I grow them for foliage but this is a very pretty color flower. Purple Rain is a good name and I’m not necessarily a Prince fan but with such profusion of blooms, it looks like Purple Rain.
I really like the heavy blooming heads, shape of leaves and color. Would like to know the size. Yes, I would buy.
Yes, indeed, the flower color is a bonus! Looks like the leaves have good substance and might be slug resistant.
What is its size? Reminds me of several small gold hostas with multiple lavender flowers.
The size is comparable to H. ‘Gold Edger’, but the foliage get brighter later in the season…the opposite of H. ‘Gold Edger’. Also, the floral show is much superior.
It is beautiful! I love the shade of green of the leaves and the flowers are gorgeous. I would love to buy one.
Love the rich colors of the flowers and the leaves – yes, I would buy one – or three!
A beauty, I love the whole combination!! The only question I would ask is how well will it hold up planted in a container here in North Texas?
North Texas should be fine…with shade and plenty of water.
It is pretty. reminds me of the tiara line with out the crown.
Love, love the look of it. Is there any perfume. I have replied on Twitter – its on my Wanted List. Let us know if you introduce it.
No fragrance, but many of our crosses are for fragrance and we’ll post those later.
It’s gorgeous and I love the color combinations… Yes I would buy although I can’t usually afford your new introductions.
I love it, but hostas don’t grow here, zone 8b at the beach
I LOVE Hostas that have interesting and or showy flowers. Oh Heck YES!!! I will even be a test garden for them.
Size? Fast grower? Is it truly lime green?
Is that the typical to have that many blooms?
It emerges chartreuse green and then brightens to gold. Yes, this is the typical floral show, which is quite unusual to have a show this nice in a hosta.
If it were smaller, yes. My Empress Woos take up all of my big shade real estate, but I’d love to tuck a fewer smaller chartreuse ones in around ’em.
Elegant Deer Food is my choice for it’s name. Love it but I will need a large planter for the porch.
If the color in your shot is even close to being accurate
I’d be first in line to buy it!
Although all lenses are different, I think it captured the color pretty well.
Hell yes I’d buy it!
I like the prolific flowers and the leaf color. I would likely buy it. What is it’s disease and pest resistance?
Lovely! Definitely would buy it!
It’s at the top end of durable, vigorous hostas, so no pest issues out of the norm for all hostas
The color contrast is all the better for having such impressive flowers. I would love to have this in my garden.
This could be worthy of ‘Purple Reign.’
Great name suggestion
Absolutely. Striking combo of bright green and purple
Deer mean I grow Hosta as ground cover under Japanese Maples on the deck. Lime green is a huge favorite of mine because it brings light to dark areas – even white isn’t as bright. This Hosta will look beautiful under the rusty red Maple, across from the a window box of Agapanthus. If and when I am able to get them, I will forever call them Limey Tears.
