Weeping Yucca Posted on July 5, 2015 by Juniper Level Botanic Garden Here’s one of our weird hybrids that just finished flowering…a cross of Yucca cernua x Yucca recurvifolia, that has a pendulous inflorescence. We think it’s pretty cool, but would anyone actually buy it? Share this:FacebookPinterestTwitterRedditEmailMoreTumblrLinkedInPocketPrintLike this:Like Loading...
Surely an awesome hybrid for colder climates.
To big for shipping to germany ;-/
Once we decide whether to propagate it, we ship worldwide, and regularly to Germany. We will so seed this year, with great interest to see what the offspring look like.
I’ve bought from you folks before, and I would definitely buy this one. Yuccas are common where I live in California, but that inflorescence is so unusual that it would be a talking point by visitors for sure.
HOW WILL DO IN 120 DEGREES?
That’s a great question, and honestly, we don’t know for certain. Given it’s background, I’d guess that it would be fine if given some mid-day shade.
